不僅把偽紀錄片形式感發掘個遍，還有海量吸血鬼愛好者才能會心一笑的埋梗。原版三人組和一眾大咖的客串議會簡直驚喜，Tilda的造型更是仿佛Only Lovers Left Alive的Eve穿越到了Suspiria的女巫集會現場，為漫改電影Blade男主Wesley設計的視訊通話故障也是神來之筆。室友sitcom的核，故意展示粗糙製作和尷尬停頓的笑點模式，原作開發的世界觀在長度恰好的篇幅裏逐漸拓寬。一些Waititi式的惡趣味，全是處子的LARPing社團；借早已死去的非人視角嘲諷死氣沉沉的人類社會製度；讓energy vampire Colin Robinson去共情別人就像自己吃自己的酷刑；Nandor去找後代那一段其實是對電影劇情的致敬；日常散漫的段子底下居然還有草蛇灰線的伏筆追溯德古拉。
